Ok so Thanks to Nicole Christiansen, We now have beautiful family pictures to hang in our new home! Thank you Nicole! You did AMAZING!!! She was so much fun to work with! Highly recommend her!

So I am Back! and it's not been to terribly long since I have updated. As most people know we have moved into a new house! Here are some pics! Please don't mind the mess. It seems these days I don't have a much time on my hands to keep it clean! I think it might have something to do with the cute little boy in my life but I am not sure!
Here is our kitchen. I LOVE the counters and the cupboards. adjusting to the fact that is no where near the size of the kitchen I was used too! I am not sure where to put my dish towels and I hate it! It is definitely a work in progress!
Here is the dining room. They put the light in a funky place and it is not where I can center the table underneath it. BUT it is OUR house and we can always fix that in the future.
OUr living room. Now don't get me wrong I LOVE the hard wood floors but I had no idea how are they were to keep clean! We are definitely going to be investing in some rugs for the kitchen and living room! I LOVE how cozy it is! I feel like it is an actual room instead of a big long area I have to have to fill!
Here is Jax's room. No I have put some cute monkeys on the wall since I took this pic and it livened it up a ton! IT is SSSOO cute! There is still work to be done but I will get there little by little. The best thing is that we will be here for quite some time so we have time!
Here is our room. ...and our cat!
Our bathroom which is more than TWICE the size of our last bathroom!! Which it awesome! and we now have 2 bathtubs. I didn't have any before and it's so awesome! We also have a separate room for the toilet so two of us can use the bathroom at the same time....if that makes sense!
Since I don't have any of the front of our house yet this will have to do. One night I looked out the front window and there was this goat and dog in the front yard. Well we went out and the venture over to our fountain to get a drink. I want the goat!! IT was SO cute !
So my sister and my nephews came down to visit and we had to get all the grandsons in one pic! Xander man and Jax are buds! But Max thinks Jax is pretty cool too!
Max  LOVED to hold Jax, even though Jax is just about as big as Max.
LAst of all, Jax's first high chair experience. It was a real thriller! lol he was so tired but so cute! I love this little boy more than life !
Oh wait one more....Jax's first cereal experience. He wasn't too thrilled at first but this little boy can't get enough of it! We have since moved on to carrots and soon to squash!
Family Pics are to come! I am not being very through when it comes to story telling but I am updating my blog! YAY! maybe once I get it all updated I will be better at it!?!?!?

So here are some More pics of our little cutie pie. We are so lucky, He was sleeping throught he night at about 7-8 weeksish. The orange shirt was my absolute favorite church outfit and I was sad the day I put it on him and it was too small:(
This is his 2 month pic I can't believe how big he's gotten!
Jax with Grammy all ready to be blessed
ALL of our wonderful family that could make it to support us!! (there were many loved ones with their support that couldn't make it)
 AWE:)

I love My Nana She means the world to me!!

Shane and I and all the Kiddo's

After the blessing Jax passed out on the floor for lite 3 hours. He has a herniated belly button so that's why it looks a little weird. It was so hot in our house so we stripped him down and there he slept!

Have 6 Months really gone by?

Oh mane I cannot believe it has been 6 months since I last posted. I have some serious catching up to do! so, Jax was born (sure am glad I'm not still pregnant) Our little man decided to make his entrance into the world 2 and a half weeks early and Mommy was grateful! On March 22nd, 2012, I came home from work for lunch. Shane had the rest of the day off so he was home as well. I had thought that my water had broke but I wasn't sure. I decided that it hadn't and that I was going to go back to work. Well as I got back in my car to drive to work, a gush of water, YES my water had broke!!!

We got to the hospital at about 1:30pm that afternoon, as you know hospitals take their time so we didn't really know if i was in labor or not yet. about 2 hours later a nurse came in and said "we're going to have a baby!" I was a little nervous!
I labored through the night with out much progress, it was long and I honestly didn't get much sleep. Shane slept on and off but didn't get much either. At about 9 am (20+ hours later) i was still in labor. The doctor came in and checked me and found another fore bag of water that needed to be ruptured. This all took place at about 10:30 am (no drugs up to this point) at this point the contractions were coming hard and fast and I hadn't slept at all the night before so I decided to get and epidural..
after the epidural, I slept for 3 hours or so. When I woke up the nurse checked me and said your complete my EXACT words were " so now what to we wait for" I had no idea what I was in store for. I started pushing at 2:05 pm (25 hours AFTER my water broke) Jax was born at 2:53pm weighing in at 7 lbs 13 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. He was so perfect and healthy. He came out whimpering and it was the best sound I have ever heard.
They placed him on my chest immediately after he was born and I will never forget how he looked up at me and we made eye contact for the first time. I fell in love!
So here are a few pics of our little man at the hospital,/home and shortly after. Sorry I am so delayed on the post.

Definitely more to come

32 WeEks!!!

Ok I am at 32 weeks and starting to get really Anxious to meet my little boy!!! I have been working on his room like craczy and I have made his bumpers and his baby quilt. I am now currently working on a fitted sheet for his crib but I am not really understanding the instructions so I am taking a break. I Have decided that I am doing his room in Monkeys....I love it!!! Above is his crib with the bumpers and his quilt draped of the side.

HERe is another pic of the baby quilt that I made!! My Mom helped me coordinate all the fabrics together as I am incapable in that department. She also helped me cut all the fabric for the quilt and for the bumpers.
Below is a pic of me at 32 weeks!!! YAY!!! I feel huge but I still have 8 weeks left so I am sure it is only going to get worse (or I am going to get bigger!) But I feel good most days! I can't wait to hold my little Monkey in my arms and kiss his cheeks!
Well Until next time....The Armstrong's!

Baby Boy Jax

So It has been awhile. I am terrible at this but i want to get better!!! I just need to do it!!! Anyways we have done Christmas, and New Yeats since my last post and I must take a minute to say they were both AMAZING!!! We had a wonderful Christmas and got to see all of our families! We spent Christmas Eve and day with the Smith side then the day after Christmas we went down to Payson and saw the Armstrong's. Boy did we get spoiled from all directions. And so did Jax! and he is not even here yet!
Before we left for Christmas Shane surprised me one day by painting the baby's room! It was so sweet of him and so nice to have it down. When we got back from Christmas all we had to do was do a little touch up paint and we were good to go.
The Tuesday after Christmas We set up the crib that I have had to stare at for a month in a box! It was so much fun to put it together. It also came with a dresser/changing table that we had to build as well. Below are some pics of his room!
As you can see we are going to name him Jax. It is the one boy name that we can both whole hearted agree on. We are also going to do his room in Monkeys. At first I thought it was going to be easy but I am having the hardest time finding fabric!!! Below is a pic of the dresser with all of his stuffed animals, as well as the rocking chair we got from my parents.

and here is a pic of me. I am 27 weeks today (and still need to post ultra sound pics). 13 weeks left to go!!! I feel like there is so much we still have to do and to buy!! But little by little we will get it all! We cannot wait until he is here!
Well hopefully the next post will take place before he is born! I will try my hardest to get ultra sound pics up with in a week or so.

Until next time

It's a BOY

So I must say that it is really weird post a pic of me....Blogger.com is being super slow right now and will not up load any more pics than one at a time and I just want to be done blogging for the night.
First, I am showing!!! YAY!!!! I still think it is more fat than anything else but still....I at least look pregnant!
Second, IT'S A BOY!!! We were able to go to the doctor on Wednesday and I wasn't scheduled for an ultra sound but I asked them if they had time to do one real quick to see if they could see what it was. There was no guessing with this little guy!!!! He was spread eagle with his bum right at the top of my belly!!! Now I must say that I was convinced that it was a girl, so I was a little surprised when I saw that it was a boy!! We seriously couldn't be more excited! The last 5 babies in our family have been boys! We will add one more in the mix!! I am so excited that this little guy with have 2 boy cousins to rough house with!!!

Other than baby talk we really have had a lot going on! We did a 5k race last Saturday, we have had Christmas parties (yes already) and work out the WAZOO!!! We are looking forward to Thanksgiving and having the whole Armstrong clan down to our place! YAY!!! Life is good! Life is great!!!

Until next time
